ABOUT RKS INNOVATION
RKS Innovation is an overhead line design engineering company. The company was established by it's founder to provide specialist overhead line and structure design services to clients in the public and private sectors. Our engineers and technicians have successful backgrounds in the energy sector. We thrive in utility scale projects and renewable energy projects, with emphasis on Transmission and Distribution related projects.
OUR FOUNDER
Our founder is Rishen Moodley, who is a professional engineer registered with ECSA. He has vast year's of experience with Transmission and Distribution projects. He has designed and managed several capital expansion overhead transmission line projects, for Medupi, Kusile and grid expansion from inception to commissioning. He has performed refurbishment and asset health overhead line projects as well as emergency restoration of various transmission and distribution lines in South Africa
He has designed several steel lattice and steel pole structures for extra high voltage power lines and the telecommunications environment. He has been awarded for innovation and customer satisfaction while working for Eskom. He has performed projects and training for overhead line design within Eskom South Africa, Eswatini, Malawi and the Netherlands.
